This
1650 Cub Cadet is 31 years old. In
2005 I took it apart and repaired
everything that needed attention then
painted the tractor the same shade of
blue as the decals. The original color
was school bus yellow but I like blue
tractors better. More
pics are here.

I
have pretty much all the attachments
for the 1650, including a 42"
snowblower, a 44" deck, 42"
front and rear blades and a 39"
rear mount rototiller.

 |
|
The attachments
are all raised and lowered hydraulically but
the rear hydraulics don't have down pressure,
which actually works better for some jobs.
Dragging the rear blade with it reversed
dresses up our gravel driveway and parking
area nicely. |

The 1650's
are super shakers.
The single cylinder design and large
piston, along with the engine being
mounted with the crankshaft in line
with the frame, generate some
vibration. It's mostly at mid
throttle.

I stuck a
Ford badge on the grill temporarily
just to irritate the Cub purists. It
worked! |
