| The
Brantly 48 loader mounted on the 400
above was pretty ratty looking when I
got it. It was functionally competent
but needed paint, new hoses and a
complete fluid change. It also needed
a pump mounting bracket. So last
spring I completely tore it apart,
sandblasted and painted all of the
heavy metal, chemically stripped and
painted the cylinders and replaced
some hoses. |

It
looks so nice now I'm scared to use
it. I tell myself I'm just letting the
paint cure.

I
bought the loader from a WFM
member who lives in the
Detroit area. I was still
recovering from bypass surgery
at the time so I picked it up,
brought it home and didn't do
anything to it the following
spring. |
