My 1990 5.0 Coupe has a new owner. I had a storage issue and my toy fund was depleted so I sold the car to a local guy who is a gearhead and Mustang fan. He's also very fussy about his vehicles and wil take excellent care of the car.

There are new coil springs on the back and the rear rubber is a pair of Cooper 2.75x 60's. They're fairly tall so the stance on the Mustang isn't what I want. It would have been just right back in the 70's. Times have changed though.

This is what a bone stock 5.0 engine bay looks like. Not too bad for a 20 year old car. There's no rust or corrosion under the hood but the aluminum parts have gotten a little dull over time, as have the rubber and black plastic pieces. The underside of the hood and the firewall and inner fender paint is a little dull now too.   Zoom to engine bay

I installed all new black vinyl seat upholstery and ditched the original cloth. It makes good shop rags but it's a bad idea for grease monkeys like me.

The 86-93 Mustangs have been the most common car on Pinks by far.

I put a shiny new set of Weld  wheels on the car, 15x8's on the back and 15x7's on the front. When I installed them I put 2.75 x15 rubber on the rear and I had to remove the quad shocks to get them to fit. As a result the Mustang handles like a drunken sailor now. The solution will be to install new quad shocks and reverse them so that the shock cylinder is on the end where the tire rub was happening.
