Ask two garden tractor enthusiasts
what 'restoration' means and
you'll get three opinions. My personal definition
is that restoring a tractor means repairing and
repainting it so
that it looks and works as good as new.
A 'correct restoration' is different.
That means using only original parts, colors
and decals for the particular make, model and year.
I'll be that fussy with my 66 100 RF
when I restore it but otherwise that's a road I don't
want to go down. Way too
many rules. My tractors are mostly original and that's
good enough for me.
