This
is my wife's gardening tractor. It
pulls a small trailer that she uses to
haul the debris away generated when
weeding and pruning. The Honda engine
is very easy to start and is super
reliable so I never have to worry
she'll have any trouble.

It
looks like a little hotrod, to my
fertile imagination anyway.

The build stage.
This little machine is really easy to work on.
I have all the parts to restore the little
Massey some day, assuming I can find the
correct 8 HP Kohler engine. |

 |
This
is what the old Massey should look
like. It was built in 1964 by a
company called Dura. Massey started
manufacturing their own garden
tractors a few years later with the
same look and colors as their full
size red and gray tractors. The
original yellow models had an 8 hp K181
Kohler engine and a 3 speed
transaxle.
